Book Review : Pralay The Great Deluge

Pralay is squeal of Hrappa, the curse of blood river. The thrill of the first book continues in the second and the story is as gripping as ever, infact it gets better.

1700 BCE The Surya Devta after being tortured and skinned alive is sent to dungeons to die, returns for vengeance and the rage in him to destroy the whole of Harappa is chilling. The Gods are angrier than ever with the sins of the people of Harappa and the end is near. Manu meets a mysterious ocean man at the Black Temple, who seems to be  the most divine person on earth. This mysterious man is supposed to help Manu through “THE PRALAY”.

2017 Vidhyut betrayed and almost killed by his most trusted best friend is recovering while Vidhyuts  great grand father revels the secret of the curse of the blood line. Now the most powerful aghori of Banaras is trying to kill Vidyut because of a new world order. So what is this new world order and who is giving them?

This book deals with so many Human emotions. How the hurt and damage of the past turned into hate and Anger. And  how the Lust of power makes you Blind.

Now there is a new secret to be reveled that is secret of Black Temple!

I just didn’t like the idea of Vidhyut and Naina together. May be the emotions are pure and harmless but this whole plot seems useless. May be some other angle will appear in the coming book but in this book no. Infidelity is not acceptable, Not even for gods!

Book ends with a cliff hanger just like the previous one. The third book in the series is Kashi it will revel the secret of Black temple and hopefull the person giving the New world orders.

I would give this book a 4 out of 5 stars!

To understand this book better check out the first book of the series
